degraded vhs images, distant voices and a deconstructed score, leave a trace of the stories that they once were connected to. the message, emotions and perspectives have now changed and the content of the original material becomes less important than the medium the story is told through.
an audiovisual performance on february 9th at the aga built around the idea of unlinking the sound and image from vhs samples to communicate new identities. once connected during their inception, the audio and visuals will be treated to different processes and then reconnected.
